Over the past weeks we've released a series of updates to ASMO360 VPN for iPhone and Mac, making both apps faster and more reliable. Here's what's changed.
iOS App Improvements
- Faster connection — a progress bar now shows real-time connection status
- Better reconnection — more reliable when switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks

macOS App — Full Desktop Experience
We've released a full macOS application that runs in your Mac's menu bar:
- One-click connection — connect to VPN instantly from the menu bar
- Same subscriptions as the iPhone app — your account works across all devices
- Automatic setup on first launch — no manual configuration needed
- Works in restricted regions — the same Restricted Region technology as iOS
- Direct Access mode — selected sites bypass VPN
The macOS app is available in two ways:
- Mac App Store: ASMO360 VPN
- DMG: ASMO360-VPN-macOS.dmg
Critical Fix for macOS
We fixed a critical VPN connection issue in the macOS app. If you previously experienced connection problems on Mac, please update to the latest version.
Installation in Restricted Regions
Our iOS app solves the access problem automatically:
- On first launch, the app connects through a built-in secure channel
- No other VPN needed for setup — it works out of the box
- 10 backup connection servers — if one is blocked, the app automatically finds another
Simply download from App Store, install and open. The app will configure itself.
